Each piece I create is handmade with care, and I want you to be happy with your order. Because everything is handmade, returns are only possible in certain cases. But if something isn’t right, I’ll always try to make it fair.

Here’s how returns work:

• Returns are only accepted if an item arrives damaged due to my own error. I will need photo evidence of the issue to assess the situation and ensure we can come to a fair resolution.

• If there’s an issue, please email me at bythecreature@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery. After that, I’ll assume all is well and won’t be able to offer a return.

• I don’t accept return requests via social media DMs. I get a lot of messages and may not see yours in time. You must email me at bythecreature@gmail.com and include your name, order number, a description of what’s happened, and any photos you may have.

• I can’t offer returns for things like a change of mind, ordering the wrong size or not reading the product details. All sizing and info is clearly listed on each product page so please ensure you take the time to read everything before buying.

• If a return is agreed, you’ll need to cover the return postage, and I really recommend sending it via tracked shipping; I can’t take responsibility for returns lost in transit.

• Once I’ve received the item back, I will issue you a refund to the same card you use to purchase. Please note I cannot refund shipping costs, so the refund amount will be for the item only.

• In some cases, I may also offer a partial refund, without the need to return the item. We will discuss all options together.

I want you to know that I’m very collaborative and understanding, and will always speak to you with respect and kindness. Please don’t feel anxious about reaching out if there’s a problem.

When you visit my website or place an order, I may collect:

• For orders: Your name, email address, phone number (optional) and shipping address (so I can send your purchase to you).

• For website visitors: Information like what what device you’re using (phone or laptop), your location and how you found my website (e.g. via Instagram).

• For newsletter subscribers: Your email address (so I can send your Creature Mail). You can unsubscribe anytime.

I only use your information for:

• Processing and shipping your orders.

• Sending you my newsletter (if you signed up).

• Improving my website’s performance and user experience.

I never sell, trade or share your data with third parties for marketing. I’m a tiny, one-person business and I’m honestly not interested in any of that!

I take security seriously and use appropriate measures to protect your data. Like any online service, no system is 100% secure, but if there’s ever a data breach, I’ll take action immediately.

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data I hold about you.

• Ask me to correct or delete your information.

• Opt out of the newsletter at any time by clicking "unsubscribe".
